In the period from April 16 to 17, SUAI hosted the XIX International Scientific and Technical Conference on Electromechanics and Robotics “Zavalishinsky Readings – 2024”
On the first day of the Conference, reports by leading scientists and researchers from 7 regions of Russia and Uzbekistan were presented at the adult section.
On April 17, a youth section was held, where Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s degree students presented their research projects on the topics of the Conference in the format of poster presentations.
– For me, this Conference served as the start of my scientific activity – I had not published articles before. The topic of my research is related to machine learning and artificial intelligence in business analytics, I considered the trends and possibilities of using these technologies. I hope that participation in the Conference will help me get additional points when applying for a master's degree," said Konstantin Kopytov, a 4th–year SUAI student.
The youth section also hosted the Energy of Success intellectual competition, which was attended by 34 8-11 grade students from 16 schools of St. Petersburg. They underwent career guidance in the SUAI Polytechnic class. Under the guidance of Master’s Degree students of the Institute of Cyberphysical Systems, the guys prepared projects and articles that were included in the collection of reports of the youth section.
