From December 11 to December 15, the Russian Robotics Week was held at the PetroCongress Center. The complex of congress and exhibition events included the International Robotics Forum with the participation of leading industry experts, student competitions "RoboticsSkills", seminars and workshops.
St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation has become a venue for international student RoboticsSkills competitions, which covered three competencies: industrial robotics, mobile robotics and digital manufacturing. The organizers of the Robotics skills competition were the Kreonomika Cluster and SUAI.
This year, students from several universities in Russia and CIS countries participated in the Digital Production competence. Along with SUAI teams students from Brest State Technical University (Republic of Belarus), St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Samara National Research University named after Academician S. P. Korolev, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great, Shebeki College of Industry and Transport, and Petrovsky College took part in the competitions.
The task of digital production is to maximize the efficiency of equipment by introducing the latest digital technologies into the process, such as artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, industrial Internet of Things, transmission and analysis of big data. The introduction of the concept of digital production radically changes the current production process, and, consequently, the requirements for future professions. The employees of the future are, first of all, specialists in digital technologies, with a deep understanding of the technological process and the equipment used.
The Industrial Robotics competence is dedicated to programming, equipping and controlling industrial robots to perform automated production tasks. Industrial robotics specialists must have a wide range of skills not only to perform the basic tasks of integrating robots, security systems, work bodies and other peripheral equipment, but also for maintenance and troubleshooting. In the competence on Mobile Robotics, the contestants carried out the design, construction, programming and maintenance of robots for solving various tasks in industry.
For three days, the participants of the robotics teams solved the tasks assigned to them and showed skills in the presented competencies.
On December 15, the awarding ceremony of the participants of the competition took place at the Petrocongress Shopping Center. In the competence of Digital Production, the first-degree diploma was awarded to the SUAI team, which included students Egor Badika, Dmitry Zyryanov, Oleg Gasta, Ksenia Zhelobovskaya. The second-degree diploma was awarded to the GASU team: Vladislav Yelesin, Mikhail Muslivets, Elizaveta Rakhmanova, Maxim Sadovnikov. Students of Samara National Research University named after academician S.P. Korolev (Polina Kiselyova, Olga Senatskaya, Ilya Borodkin, Mikhail Zagorin) took the diploma of the III degree.
Vasily Zotov took the first place in the competence on Industrial Robotics, Olga Timofeeva took the second, and Katerina Nikitina took the third. As to the winners of the competence on Mobile robotics: the diploma of the first degree was awarded to students Kirill Cherednikov and Ekaterina Rudik. Roman Zenin and Rodion Khokhlov received a diploma of the II degree. And students Marcel Bulangurov and Olga Lavrentieva became holders of a diploma of the III degree in this competence.
The RoboticsSkills competitions allowed students to learn even more about the professions of the future, about training personnel to master these professions, as well as about the prospects for innovative development of the field of robotics.
