The rating was prepared by INPO Digital Economy with the support of the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises (APKIT) and the Ministry of Finance of Russia
In the ranking of universities of the digital economy, 304 head universities were evaluated and 63 areas of training and specialties related to IT personnel were considered. The final results are prepared in the form of ratings for two groups of universities: Moscow and St. Petersburg region and universities of other subjects of Russia.
This rating encourages universities to cooperate more closely with business in the training of IT personnel, and also identifies those groups of universities that make a high contribution to the quantitative and qualitative training of IT specialists.
The rating evaluates Russian universities that provide state funded training in IT specialties at the bachelor's and specialist level. In this rating, the areas of training in IT specialties is defined by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
