SUAI has signed an agreement with the Russian-Chinese Business Park
Yulia Antokhina, Rector of SUAI, met with Vice President of the Chinese Business Center Mr. Chen Zhigang and Vice Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Association for Research and Development of the "One Belt, One Road" strategy Ms. Peng Yinlai. They discussed the issues of joint creation of educational programs for the Faculty of Additional Professional Education, and signed a cooperation agreement.
Yulia Antokhina noted that more than 400 students from China are currently studying at the university. According to the rector, they all show a conscientious attitude to the subjects studied, perseverance, and self-determination. Mr. Chen Zhigang, in turn, spoke warmly about the university and its importance in China. According to the vice president of the Chinese Business Center, there are many people who want to study in St. Petersburg, in particular at SUAI.
The programs taught in SUAI are interesting for partners from the point of view of import substitution. Our colleagues believe that by accumulating the potential of Russia and China's advanced technologies, cooperation will become more productive.
Alexandra Melnichenko, Dean of SUAI Faculty of Continuing Professional Education, spoke about the flexibility, efficiency and mobility of her department. She believes that the university will provide a good educational base for Russian students and entrepreneurs. Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in the long term, for example, in order to continue their studies in China. The "Hello China" project has already found a response among school students: they are interested not only in obtaining professional competencies, but also in learning the language and culture.
Thus, SUAI will provide a teaching staff that will teach students the Chinese language and the basics of the profession, and in the future, the Chinese partners will provide an internship in the country.
