On March 21, SUAI discussed possible fields of cooperation in science and education with representatives of the Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation is actively developing international cooperation. Cooperation with India has been carried out for several years, and the visit of representatives of the Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg will help to expand it.
The meeting was attended by Consul General Kumar Gaurav and Consul Nirmesh Kumar. The guests got acquainted with the activities of the university, focusing on a unique educational profile – aerospace instrumentation. Nikolay Mayorov, Director of the Institute of Aerospace Instruments and Systems, presented to the partners the work of the Institute as a training center for certified specialists, bachelors and masters in the field of modern instrumentation, motion control and navigation systems, advanced aerospace information systems, technology of transport processes and system analysis. Valentin Olenev, Director of the Center for Aerospace Research and Development, told the guests about SUAI's strategic project, the Aerospace R&D Center.
Representatives of the Consulate General of India asked questions about foreign students’ studies at the university, how their adaptation takes place, and which fields of study they choose.
In April, the SUAI delegation will take part at the Russian-Indian Educational Summit, which will include an educational exhibition, meetings with Indian universities, thematic round tables and negotiations.
