On May 17, SUAI delegation, consisting of Valery Matyash, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Alexey Rabin, Director of the Center for Coordination of Scientific Research, took part in the round table of the VIII Russian-Chinese scientific and technical cooperation in the field of development and implementation of high technologies, held within the framework of the Russian-Chinese EXPO
The VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO is taking place at the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 17 to 21. It is included in the list of events organized in China within the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries.
SUAI delegation visited the EXPO site and took part in a round table of Russian-Chinese scientific and technical cooperation in the field of development and implementation of high technologies. In the first part of the round table program, representatives of our university reported on the experience of SUAI international cooperation, told about the educational programs of the University, and presented research and development projects of industrial robotics for intelligent production carried out at the SUAI Engineering School.
Next, a working meeting was held with the staff of Harbin University of Engineering where the development of academic cooperation in the field of education and research was discussed. Both universities are interested in such fields of cooperation as exchange of staff and students, joint educational programs, research and development. The next step will be to discuss the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding and establishing a joint laboratory in the field of remote sensing of the Earth and aerospace monitoring.
