From July 8 to 21, Sakhalin Island hosts Archipelago 2024, which will be the main event for the launch of new markets, initiatives and industries in the dronosphere, biotech, and creative economy.
The goal of the event is to present the key areas of scientific and technological development in Russia. The Archipelago program in 2024 includes drone competitions and the Architecture of the Sky Dronosphere Forum. The Forum is aimed at forming the concept of a seamless "digital sky" and working out projects for the development of promising systems and services based on low-orbit satellite groupings, unmanned aircraft systems and artificial intelligence to scale the use of UAS in key industries. Thematic laboratories, round tables and hackathons will begin their work on July 11.
On July 10, the team of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation takes part in the installation session of the Dronosphere Forum. In the following days, each participant of the team will visit laboratories that reflect their field of scientific interest.
