The finals of the Digital Transformation Leaders competition was held in Moscow. More than nine thousand people from all regions of Russia and 45 other countries took part in the hackathon
Every participant had to solve one of the tasks proposed by the capital's departments and companies. For the first time, such regional executive authorities as the Administration of the Volgograd Region and the Government of the Kamchatka Territory presented their tasks as well. In order to solve problems, participants joined teams of 2 to 5 people. A total of 250 teams were selected for the finals.
The competition supports talented developers of digital products and services who create unique software developments for the largest Russian companies and government agencies. For the first time, five international partners joined the hackathon: Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation (China), Department of Digital Ajman (UAE), Nairobi University of Science and Technology (Kenya), Acceleration Platform (Uzbekistan), Iran House of Innovation and Technology (Iran). Representatives of the BRICS, CIS, Asia, Middle East and Africa countries plan to adopt the successful practice of holding a hackathon and are eager to pilot solutions of the winners the hackathon on their sites.
One of SUAI tems, S&kittens, took 2nd place and received a prize of 600 thousand rubles.
