On September 30, the International Forum of UNESCO Chairs and their Partners on Transforming Knowledge for the Future of Africa opened on the premises of the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa
Employees of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation are included in the official delegation of the Russian Federation to participate in this event. On the first day of the parallel session on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Cooperation, Oksana Novikova, representative of the UNESCO Chair of SUAI, shared her experience of successfully implementing the competencies of the future in engineering education and made proposals for cooperation with African universities.
Representatives of Russian UNESCO departments from the Higher School of Economics and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Moscow Linguistic University, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Moscow Psychological and Pedagogical University and Senior Adviser to the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO Ksenia Gaverdovskaya also took part in the Forum.
