4 марта The VII International Forum on Metrological Support of Innovative Technologies was held at the University

SUAI hosted the VII International Forum on Metrological Support of Innovative Technologies, which was attended by leading scientists from 13 countries

The preparations for the Forum lasted for 5 months — more than 50 students, postgraduates and teachers of the Department of Metrological Support of Innovative Technologies and Industrial Safety of SUAI were involved. Among the main achievements of the Forum, the organizers noted the creation of the largest collection of works in comparison with previous years — almost 600 pages.

This year, scientists, researchers, teachers and students from 13 countries took part in the event: Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, India, China, Rwanda, Peru and others.

— St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation has once again become an international platform for the exchange of experience in fundamental and applied research in engineering and physics. Reputable experts from leading universities and large industrial enterprises from different countries will present the latest results in the field of information measurement technologies today. It is symbolic that we are meeting in 2025, 150 years after the signing of the Metric Convention, which promotes the universality and unity of the use of units of measurement,» Oksana Golubeva, First Vice—rector of Euphrosyne Polotsk State University, said in her welcoming speech.

For the seventh year now, the Forum has provided participants with the opportunity to share experiences in the application of innovations in information technology, modern mathematical modeling methods and intelligent systems in high-tech manufacturing in both theoretical and applied aspects, including metrological support for industrial facilities and educational technologies. The main directions of the Forum made it possible to widely cover the entire range of scientific issues.

— I hope that the Forum will attract scientists, specialists and young researchers, as well as representatives of enterprises and organizations working in the field of metrological support for production and related fields of science and technology, to fruitful joint activities. I would like to wish all participants fruitful work, interesting interaction with like-minded people, new scientific discoveries and the pleasure of communicating with colleagues! — Yulia Antokhina, Rector of SUAI, addressed the audience.

The first Forum was held in 2019, when it became the starting point of one of the most significant scientific events in the field of metrology in Russia and the world. Every year, the number of published materials in the proceedings of the International Forum is growing — in 2024, more than 270 abstracts of participants were published.
