5 марта New sports achievements of SUAI students

From February to early March, university students earned several significant sports awards.

The students showed high results in orienteering, powerlifting and wakeboarding.

On February 1, the SUAI team took first place in the team competition in orienteering of the St. Petersburg Student Sports Games, held in the village of Orekhovo in the Priozersky district of the Leningrad Region.

SUAI students successfully performed on February 2 at the St. Petersburg Orienteering championships and championships in the ski cross-long discipline.

From February 10 to 17, SUAI students successfully performed at the Russian National Orienteering Championships in St. Petersburg and the Republic of Karelia, held in the village of Chumlyak, Kurgan region.

From February 21 to February 23, powerlifting competitions among St. Petersburg universities in the 57 kg weight category were held in St. Petersburg. The gold medal was awarded to Victoria Tovkacheva, a student of the M 358MK group. Her result is 290 kg.

The St. Petersburg Winter Cable Wakeboard Championship was held from February 21 to 23. Igor Yagunov, a student of the 2322 group, a member of the SUAI national wakeboard team won the championship.

From March 1 to March 2, SUAI students also showed good results at the final block of the winter orienteering championships and the St. Petersburg Orienteering Championships held in the village of Orekhovo, Priozersky district, Leningrad Region.
