On March 25, the SUAI delegation led by the Rector took part in the opening ceremony and the program of events of the Global Partnership Week at Shanghai Polytechnic University.
Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation Yulia Antokhina, Vice-Rector for Educational Technologies and Innovation Sergey Soleny and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Technological Development Nikolai Mayorov attended the opening ceremony of the SHPU Global Partnership Week at the University’s Academic Exchange Center. The event was attended by members of the Supervisory Board of Shanghai Polytechnic University, representatives of partner universities, employees of SHPU University and teachers of academic mobility programs between universities.
SUAI Rector Yulia Anokhina took part in the meeting of the Supervisory Board of SHPU, which began after the opening ceremony of the Global Partnership Week.
— Today, the reform of higher education in Russia is also aimed at increasing the number of hours in industrial practice. A student must have more than 2,000 hours of practice to be able to work efficiently in the industry. SHPU has a large number of industrial partners, which indicates the high quality of education at the university. In order to have technological sovereignty and leadership, industry and education must jointly develop products and technologies. SHPU has such experience that it allows to adapt and change curricula during personnel training and further employment,» the rector addressed the participants.
