On July 8, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity was celebrated
In the courtyard of the building near the monument to Catherine II, a Japanese spiraea was planted. The main participants of the event were our students Margarita Prutkaya and Alexander Dmitrienko, a young couple who will get married soon.
— The Day of Family, Love and Fidelity reminds us that we always need to be gentle with each other. It’s great that on this particular holiday we plant a symbol of our love in the form of flowers. We will be watching them while we study at SUAI,» Margarita Prutkaya shared.
The event was also attended by Larisa Nikolaeva, Vice Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, and university staff.
— We had a desire to make a flower bed together with our young student family and colleagues in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. We are glad that we managed to create an atmosphere of beauty. When people are in love, it is always very pleasant to give and receive flowers,» Larisa Nikolaeva noted.
Japanese spiraea is not a random choice — this flower symbolizes tenderness, love and harmony.
