On October 31, the University hosted the third Festival of National Cultures, timed to coincide with the National Unity Day state holiday
The concept of the event is to unite the creative efforts of students and teachers in order to show the diversity, power and beauty of Russian culture. The main program of the festival included various locations, it was colorful and intense.
— The Festival of National Cultures is not just a bright event in the life of our university, but a living embodiment of the force that makes Russia a unique country — the force of our diversity. Dozens of students from different parts of the vast country study and develop at the university in an atmosphere of respect and friendship, gaining knowledge, friends, exchanging experiences, and being inspired by each other’s achievements. It is in this dialogue of cultures, in the opportunity to learn and understand each other’s traditions, that real unity is born. Holding such a festival is our contribution to strengthening the all—Russian civic identity and educating young people in the spirit of mutual respect,» said Natalia Dolbik, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Technologies and Law of SUAI.
This year, more than 150 people have applied to participate in the locations. More than 600 attended this event as spectators and participants of interactive zones. Students, teachers and staff of SUAI can confidently say: «We did it! We are not just talking about unity — we know how something valuable and important can be created in a single impulse.»
