3 декабря Mathematical methods and models in high-tech production were discussed at the University

SUAI hosted the opening of the V International Forum on Mathematical Methods and Models in High-tech Manufacturing

The Forum brought together leading scientists, postgraduates and students, foreign colleagues and representatives of the industrial sector. The event is timed to coincide with Mathematician’s Day, which is celebrated on December 1, the birthday of Nikolai Lobachevsky, the Russian mathematician and creator of non-Euclidean geometry.

The presentations of the speakers were held in six thematic sections: «Fundamental mathematics — the basis of high-tech production», «Mathematical modeling of physical phenomena in solids, liquids, and gases», «Mathematical methods and models in instrumentation and radio electronics», «Mathematical methods in IT and AI», «Modeling of natural engineering systems, metrology and quality management», «Teaching physics and mathematics in universities».

— Taking into account the wide range of participants, the relevance of the presented reports, as well as the traditional publication of two volumes of works, which will be sent to all participants after the end of the Forum, we can confidently state: Our Forum has once again achieved its main goal: the exchange of experience in the application of modern mathematical models and mathematically sound systems in high-tech production. It is important to note that in addition to representatives of academic universities, the Forum was attended by employees of research institutes and specialists from the manufacturing sector who are also involved in mathematical modeling,» said Elena Frolova, Director of the Institute for Fundamental Training and Technological Innovation at SUAI.
