On December 19, SUAI hosted the defense of projects by students and young researchers within the framework of the Aerospace Knowledge Factory, a strategic project of the Aerospace R&D Center aimed at developing advanced aerospace technologies

Valentin Olenev, Director of the Space Research and Development Center, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that the number of projects that have reached the defense stage has tripled in 2025, which indicates the increasing interest of students in project activities.

Students could choose their own topic, as well as fulfill the real task of the university’s partners. The projects were dedicated to the development of technologies for aerospace on-board systems and covered the following scientific fields:

• Aerospace measurement and computing complexes;
• System analysis, logistics, intelligent transport systems;
• Operation and management of aerospace systems;
• Aerospace computer and software systems.

The Aerospace Knowledge Factory unites education, science and industry, forming a new generation of engineers and researchers who are ready for the technological challenges of the aerospace industry.
