The General Meeting of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO was held in the Large Mansion of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
During the solemn part of the meeting, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO, presented a Diploma for great personal contribution to cooperation between the Russian Federation and UNESCO to the Rector of SUAI Yulia Antokhina.
The Commission is the official executive authority of our country, authorized to represent Russia within the framework of the UNESCO international organization.
The Commission’s activities are aimed at coordinating Russia’s cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and are aimed at strengthening Russia’s position in the international community, developing humanitarian cooperation and ensuring the preservation of cultural diversity.
