On December 28, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle of the Roscosmos State Corporation was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region
As an accompanying payload, the SPUTNIX group of companies sent a new batch of spacecraft into low-Earth orbit in the interests of various customers for testing technological and scientific-educational experiments. Among them is a satellite (small CubeSat 3U spacecraft) for testing modules and payloads of the satellite Internet of Things.
Our University has been provided access to the satellite in order to solve the tasks of training personnel for the rocket and space industry and developing competencies in the field of mission control centers at SUAI. In order to continue cooperation and solve scientific and educational tasks, this satellite will become the first satellite controlled by SUAI specialists from its own MCC after setting up a ground station and conducting appropriate training.
