The university has risen by two positions compared to 2025.
The RAEX agency has published university ratings for eight federal districts of Russia for 2026. A total of 290 universities from 78 regions were ranked. In the local ranking of the North-Western region, St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation took the second place, improving its last year’s result by two points.
The RAEX rating is the largest project to evaluate higher education in the country, acting as an independent audit that directly affects the perception of the university by applicants, employers and authorities. The activities of regional and highly specialized universities are assessed based on the realization of their educational and scientific potential, as well as their impact on the social environment. The rating methodology is constantly updated, taking into account the opinions of experts and the current economic situation.
