Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation presents five new spaces of its Technopark, equipped with modern equipment and software.
On April 15, SUAI hosted the opening ceremony of the Technopark. The division was created within the framework of the Priority 2030 program to implement a course for technological leadership in the Russian Federation.
The university’s Technopark unites about 40 laboratories, research centers and engineering sites located in several buildings. At the opening event, the Technopark’s Center for Unmanned Transport Systems, the Center for Collective Use, the Center for Pre-university Training «Quantorium», the Industrial Training Ground for Collaborative Robotics «Indutech» and the Office of Technological Leadership were presented.
— The SUAI Technopark is a growth point for advanced technologies in aviation, space and automated communication systems. The opening of five new innovation spaces was a real breakthrough for us, both in terms of goal setting and participation in the Priority 2030 program. The production facilities concentrated here make it possible not only to study existing technological solutions, but also to create the future in those national technological leadership projects that SUAI focuses on today. We are confident that the Technopark will become a center of attraction for talented scientists and researchers. This will help solve the problems of the personnel policy of our partner enterprises and will be of great importance for the whole of St. Petersburg,» said Yulia Antokhina, Rector of SUAI, in her welcoming speech.
