On April 23, as part of the work of the SUAI delegation at the first Forum of Rectors of Latin America and Russia, cooperation agreements were signed with the University of Santiago de Chile.
Yulia Antokhina, Rector of SUAI, and Cristobal Moreno, Director of the Department of Control Technologies, signed a cooperation agreement. During the discussions, issues of holding joint events, academic mobility, and employee participation in conferences were raised. SUAI Rector suggested discussing the creation of a joint mirror laboratory. Special attention was paid to the upcoming joint events of the two universities.
There was also signed a trilateral agreement between SUAI, the Robotics Laboratory (RoboticsLabScl, Santiago de Chile), and the National Committee for the Promotion of Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (Comité Nacional para la Cooperación Economica con los Países Latinoamericanos). It should be noted that SUAI has been cooperating for a long time with the Association of Robotics of Chile, headed by the President of the Association, Mr. Rodrigo Quevedo Silva.
The signed agreements are aimed at developing international cooperation between universities, implementing joint projects, and developing academic mobility.
