28 апреля Turning ideas into products

SUAI opened a startup studio that will transform scientific research and student projects into operating small technology companies with annual turnover and specific production indicators

In August 2025, St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation became one of the six universities that won the federal competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Foundation for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (RUSNANO Group). Thanks to this, the university was able to create the country’s first aerospace university startup studio for the serial launch of small technology companies. The studio focuses is on such key areas as aerospace, UAS, production and automation tools, as well as end-to-end technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data processing and new energy methods.

This startup studio will help engineers gain additional entrepreneurial skills and turn their ideas into products.
