Karina Maksimova will represent SUAI at the collegial body of the Roscosmos State Corporation, which unites talented researchers, engages young people in addressing current tasks in the industry and popularizes science.
Karina graduated from the SUAI Institute of Aerospace Instruments and Systems with a Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering. During her studies, she proved herself to be a promising young researcher: she became a finalist of the All-Russian Youth Contest of Scientific and Technical Projects «Orbit of Youth», the winner of the All—Russian Engineering Competition, the prize-winner of the «I am a professional» Olympiad, as well as a recipient of the Government of the Russian Federation Scholarship for priority fields of study. Following the results of the 2025/26 academic year, she became one of the best graduates of St. Petersburg.
The Council of Young Scientists under the General Director of the Roscosmos State Corporation was established to develop cosmonautics, strengthen the professional community and work on industry projects.

For me, the Council of Young Scientists is a gathering point for professionals in the aerospace field, a great opportunity to develop skills and implement projects. In the future, after my studies, I would like to work in the aerospace industry as an engineer,» comments Karina Maksimova.
