SUAI has joined the association of the National Committee for Promoting Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (NC PEC).
The National Committee for Promoting Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (NC PEC) was established in 1998 in the form of a non‑profit partnership with the active support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The NC SECLA has many years of experience working with representatives of the diplomatic and business communities in Latin American countries and maintains contacts with embassies and trade missions in Russia and in the countries of the Latin American region. One of the committee’s goals is to promote cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
— Membership in the Association will help SUAI promote the university’s scientific and educational programmes and find new partners in the Latin American markets. Cooperation between the university and the NC SECLA opens up direct links for the university with the real sector of the economy, the diplomatic corps, and scientific organizations in the Latin American region. The Committee helps establish direct contacts with universities, scientific and technological centers, and industrial chambers in Latin American and Caribbean countries. It helps universities participate in intergovernmental commissions, promote scientific developments, engineering solutions, and educational programs that are in demand in the region’s markets. Universities engage the NC PEC as an expert platform for holding international round tables, conferences, Culture Days, and business missions, — commented Yulia Makarova, head of the International Cooperation Department at SUAI.
