From October 20 to 24, the third educational exhibition «Russian Universities — the Best Choice!» was held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
The event, organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Vietnam, brought together representatives of leading Russian universities and potential applicants from Vietnam.
On October 19, during the grand opening of the educational exhibition, representatives of the delegations from participating universities discussed current issues related to the selection campaign for the 2026–2027 academic year, preparations for recruitment within the quota established by the Government of Russia, as well as the prospects for developing bilateral Russian‑Vietnamese educational and scientific‑educational cooperation.
The St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation was represented at the exhibition by Yulia Makarova, head of the International Cooperation Department, and Ksenia Karpova, director of the Center for International Educational Activities. They introduced the guests to the variety of educational programs offered by SUAI, including those in such in‑demand fields as aerospace, digital and engineering technologies.
«The presentation of SUAI’s educational programs for school students in Vietnam demonstrated high effectiveness as a tool for promoting Russian education: direct contact with the target audience made it possible to form a pool of interested applicants who are ready to consider studying in Russia as a viable educational trajectory, ” Ksenia Karpova said.
Presentations by Russian universities, including SUAI, demonstrated a wide range of fields of study — from advanced engineering specialties to medicine, pedagogy, and the humanities. Videos about studying in various cities across Russia allowed exhibition guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of student life and better understand the opportunities that studying at Russian universities offers.
“It’s a pleasure to recall the warmth and friendliness with which we were welcomed in schools and universities in Vietnam. During the meetings, we noted that there is a high level of interest in Vietnamese society in obtaining education in Russia and in developing direct ties between universities. We thank the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Hanoi for organizing the exhibition, facilitating the professional dialogue, and assisting in establishing contacts with educational organizations in Vietnam, ” noted Yulia Makarova.
SUAI’s participation in the educational exhibition in Hanoi was an important step in strengthening the university’s international relations and attracting talented young people from Vietnam to study at one of Russia’s leading aerospace universities.
